The Chinese and Vietnamese navies have just concluded a two-day patrol of the Tonkin Gulf, even as the governments have been embroiled over Beijing's territorial claims in the South China Sea, reports the Voice of Vietnam News.
The Vietnamese patrol boats HQ-375 and HQ-376 joined the Chinese vessels 755 and 733 on Sunday morning. The joint patrol covered more than 300 nautical miles (555 km) along the Chinese-Vietnamese border in the Gulf.
