Chinese Troops Set To Monitor Cease-Fire In Syria

The Chinese government has confirmed it will send military personnel for the U.N. observer mission in Syria, reports Xinhua, China's state news agency.
Beijing is currently negotiating the details of the mission with the U.N. Secretariat, said a Foreign Ministry spokesman.
China supports all efforts to resolve the conflict in Syria and is seeking a constructive role in the process, the spokesman said.
