An unknown number of Chinese soldiers are said to be in North Korea's northeastern Rajin-Sonbong special economic zone, says a report in South Korea's Chosun Ilbo newspaper cited by United Press International.
If confirmed, this would be the first time Chinese troops were known to be stationed in North Korea since Beijing withdrew from the truce village of Panmunjom in December 1994.
