Chinese Intel Ship Kept Approaching Japanese-Controlled Islands, Says Defense Ministry

Japan's Defense Ministry says a Chinese intelligence vessel has repeatedly sailed close to disputed islands in the East China Sea that are controlled by Tokyo, reported Agence France-Presse.

A Japanese P-3C patrol aircraft on Thursday spotted a Dongdiao-class intelligence vessel close to the disputed Senkaku Islands, known by the Chinese as the Diaoyu Islands, said the ministry.
