Chinese Frigates Make Port Of Call Near Rangoon

A pair of Chinese warships are making their first ever port call at a Burmese port, reports Xinhua, China's state news agency.
The frigates Guangzhou and Chaohu arrived at Thilawa Port near Rangoon on Sunday for a five-day visit.
Chinese officials said the visit is aimed at promoting relations between the two navies, including exchanges between officers.
The warships are on their way back to China after conducting anti-piracy operations in the Gulf of Aden and off the coast...
