The U.S. Navy has authorized the annual commissioning of two chief petty officers as chief warrant officers in the cyber warfare field, reports the Navy Times.
An administrative announcement said the new cyber warrant officer community is seeking to commission chiefs with identifiable knowledge and skill in computer network operations to "operate, analyze, plan and direct on-net cyber operations."
