Chief Of ISIS-Linked Group Killed In Maguindanao

Five suspected terrorists have been killed in fighting with Philippine soldiers in the southern Maguindanao province, reports the Manila Bulletin.

Early Thursday morning, soldiers from the 6th Infantry Division were conducting internal security operations when they were attacked by militants in Dabenayan in the Mamasapano municipality. 

The sides exchanged fire for about an hour, said Maj. Gen. Juvymax Uy, the head of the 6th Infantry Division.
