Charles De Gaulle Task Force Heads To Med

A French navy carrier task force has departed on a three-month cruise to the eastern Mediterranean, Atlantic and North Sea, reports defense-aerospace.com.
The task force led by the carrier Charles de Gaulle set sail on Jan. 21 from Toulon for Operation Foch, the French Armed Forces Ministry said.
The Charles de Gaulle and her escorts are headed to the eastern Mediterranean, where they will support Operation Chammal, France’s contribution to the counter-ISIS mission.
