Ceremony Marks Retirement Of Army Air Corps Lynx AH7 Helicopters

The British Army Air Corps has retired the last of its Lynx AH7 battlefield reconnaissance helicopters, reports Flight International.

The final six Lynx aircraft were decommissioned in a ceremony late last week.

The Lynxes are being replaced by new AW159 Wildcats.

The retired aircraft will be used for parts to support the Wildcat. The two helicopter types share many common components, officials said.
