Central Province Inks Deal With Chinese Firm To Lease Tulagi

The government of Central province in the Solomon Islands has agreed to lease the island of Tulagi to the state-owned China Sam Group, reports the Solomon Star.
The strategic cooperation agreement covering the lease of the island was signed on Sept. 22, reported Agence France-Presse. The news agency obtained documents confirming the deal on Oct. 17.
