Central Military District Gets New Surveillance Radars

An upgraded self-propelled anti-tank radar system has just entered service with the Russian Central Military District, reports the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The SNAR-10M1, also known as the Leopard-M, will bolster the capabilities of artillery units assigned to tank formations in the district, the ministry said.
The radar can detect ground, air and surface targets at a range of up to 25 miles (40 km) and deploy in 5.5 minutes.
