Pakistani troops killed at least 25 Taliban militants Thursday in the continuing assault on South Waziristan, the Dawn (Pakistan) reports.
Two soldiers also died in the fighting, military officials said. One was killed when militants fired six rockets at the Razmak camp.
The Jandola-Sararogha Axis was the site of one major battle, with militants suffering at least 13 casualties in 24 hours before withdrawing, officials said on Thursday.
