Carter Confirms Heavy U.S. Weapons To Be Stationed In Europe

The U.S. is going to position heavy weapons in Eastern and Central Europe as part of a contribution for a NATO rapid-reaction force, reports Reuters.

U.S. Defense Secretary Ash Carter announced on Tuesday that tanks, artillery and other military equipment will be sent to various European countries. He made his remarks during a trip to Tallinn, Estonia.
