A U.S. carrier strike group is in the South China Sea ahead of a scheduled visit to the region by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, reports Business Insider.

The Ronald Reagan carrier strike group departed Singapore after making a scheduled port visit on July 2022 and "continuing normal, scheduled operations as part of her routine patrol in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific,” a Navy spokesman told the news site.
