The aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln has entered the Persian Gulf ahead of her relief by USS Harry S. Truman, reports USNI News. On Tuesday, the carrier sailed through the Strait of Hormuz and into the Gulf, reported Reuters. This is the first time the Lincoln has entered the Gulf since it was deployed to the region in May.
