Carrier Leads French Contingent In Major Joint Naval Drill

The French and Indian navies are about to begin a week-long joint exercise off the coast of Goa in southwest India, reports the Indo-Asian News Service.
For the joint drill, the French navy sent its nuclear-propelled aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle, destroyers Forbin and Tourville, supply ship Meuse and nuclear-powered submarine Amethyste.
The carrier has Rafale and Super Etendard fighters, E-2C airborne warning aircraft and helicopters.
