A suicide car bomber has exploded his vehicle at the main gate of Mogadishu's airport in Somalia, Agence France-Presse reports.
Several witnesses said the blast on Thursday was followed by gunfire.
At least two people were killed, reported the BBC. Peacekeepers were among the dead, according to Reuters.
An African Union peacekeeping official confirmed the attack, but gave no further details. African Union soldiers typically guard the gate.
