A car bomb exploded near a liquor store in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad on Thursday night, reports the BBC.
The blast killed eight people and wounded at least 20 others, said security officials.
Separately, Iraqi election officials said Thursday that a recount of the Baghdad ballots from the March 7 parliamentary elections could take three weeks.
