Police have defused a car bomb in the southern Russian city of Stavropol, ITAR-TASS reports.
The car was spotted Thursday in the southwestern district of the city near a cafe, police said. A trained dog accidentally discovered the explosives, reported China's Xinhua news agency.
A corpse attached to 33 pounds of explosives was inside the car, reported RIA Novosti. The body may have been used to lure police to the scene, suggested officers.
