The governments of Angola and Cape Verde have agreed to review their current defense cooperation agreement with an eye to expanding its scope, reports the Angola Press Agency.
The decision followed last week's four-day visit by Cape Verdean Defense Minister Jorge Homero Tolentino Araujo to Angola.
Both nations said they identified new areas for defense cooperation, including maritime security, counter-drug and anti-piracy missions.
