Canberra Takes Command Of Multinational Security Force In Bahrain

The Royal Australian Navy has taken command of the multinational Combined Task Force 150 (CTF-150), reports the Combined Maritime Forces (CMF).

The Pakistan navy passed command to Australia during a Thursday ceremony at Combined Maritime Forces headquarters in Bahrain.

U.S. Vice Adm. John Aquilino, the commander of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, U.S. 5th Fleet and CMF, presided over the ceremony.
