The Czech Cabinet has approved an agreement with Slovakia to cooperate in protecting the airspaces over the neighbors, reports the Czech News Agency.
The agreement calls for the two countries to work together beginning in summer 2017, said Czech Defense Minister Martin Stropnicky on Monday.
Slovakia's Cabinet approved the deal in December 2016.
The deal still needs parliamentary and presidential approvals before taking effect.
