U.S. Air Force transport aircraft have been deployed to fight a fires raging in California, reports NBC News.
On Monday, C-130 Hercules planes joined the effort to contain 21 active wildfires. The largest, dubbed the Rocky Fire, has burned 62,000 acres of land in the area southeast of Clearlake in Lake, Yolo and Colusa counties.
