A fire occurred last week on a Yemeni air force C-130 cargo plane landing in Sanaa, reports Saba, the Yemen news agency.
One of the aircraft's engines caught fire after the plane went off the runway and crashed onto one of its wings. Firefighters extinguished the flames.
The C-130 was returning to Yemen from Amman, Jordan, officials said.
There were no injuries reported. An investigation into the accident has been launched.
