Bulava Missile Successfully Launched From Sub In White Sea

The Russian navy has successfully launched a Bulava intercontinental ballistic missile from a Borei-class submarine for the first time, reports Interfax-AVN.
The missile was fired Tuesday from the Yury Dolgoruky sub, which was submerged in the White Sea and delivered its warhead to the target in the Kura range on the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia's Far East, said a Defense Ministry spokesman.
