The Russian navy has conducted a successful test-firing of its oft-troubled Bulava submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM), reports Interfax-AVN.
In Friday's trial, the missile was launched underwater from the submarine Dmitry Donskoi in the White Sea and flew about 3,400 miles to the Kura range on Kamchatka. The flight trajectory was as expected and the warheads successfully hit the range, said the Defense Ministry.
