Buhari Replaces Military Chiefs

Nigeria's president has dismissed all of the country's top military officials, reports the BBC.

The move comes amid continued attacks by Boko Haram militants.

On Monday, President Muhammadu Buhari replaced the heads of Nigeria's army, navy and air force, as well as the president's chief of defense intelligence and the top national security adviser.

The removal of the leaders, all appointed by former President Goodluck Jonathan, was expected.
