A new measure in France aimed at capping public spending is worrying those backing military projects as the country strives to hit its NATO funding target, reports Defense News.
Article 14 was adopted on Dec. 17. It limits all civil and military expenditures to 106 billion euros (US$125 billion).
Military expenditures account for half of that amount.
The spending cap also gives more power to the Economy and Finance Ministry over the Armed Forces Ministry.
