A British soldier has been killed in an apparent friendly-fire incident in southern Afghanistan.
The soldier was killed Sunday when a U.S. Navy F/A-18 fighter opened fire during poor weather conditions near Lashkar Gah, the capital of the southern Helmand province, reports London's Daily Telegraph.
