British RAF Pilots Seen Filling Canadian Air Force Needs

The Canadian air force is considering enlisting British RAF pilots who were let go during the recent round of defense reductions in the U.K., reports the Ottawa Citizen.

The service has already hired one pilot, and another 20-25 pilots and eight air combat systems officers will sign up later this year, Canadian officials said.

Those joining the Royal Canadian Air Force would eventually become Canadian citizens, according to military documents obtained by the newspaper.
