The U.K. Defense Ministry has acknowledged that British pilots have been taking part in airstrikes in Syria, reports the New York Times.
The U.K. joined an U.S.-led air coalition against the Islamic State terrorist group in September.
Parliament agreed to airstrikes in Iraq, but not in Syria; British military operations are supposed to be restricted to intelligence and surveillance missions in Syria.
