The first Royal Air Force crew members set to fly Britain's new RC-135 Rivet Joint electronic intelligence aircraft are about to begin training at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., reports the Air Force News Service.
The U.K. Ministry of Defense has reached an agreement with the Dept. of Defense to buy three RC-135V/W aircraft over the next seven years.
Crew members are expected to start arriving on Jan. 11 at Offutt, where they will receive initial qualification training.
