British Consulate Workers Detained On Weapons Charges

Israeli authorities have charged two Palestinian employees at the British Consulate in Jerusalem with selling weapons, the Press Association (U.K.) reports.

The suspects are said to have helped obtain weapons for Palestinians planning a rocket attack on a Jerusalem soccer stadium.

The other suspects are said to have links to the Hamas terrorist group, reported Israel's Ynet News.

No rockets were found, and the alleged plot was said to be in its preliminary stages, according...
