The 162 newest U.S. Army cavalry scouts to complete training at Fort Benning, Ga., include four women, reports the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer (Ga.).
The four were the first women to graduate from the course. The soldiers from the 5th Squadron, 15th Cavalry Regiment completed 17 weeks of training, earning the 19D military occupational specialty, cavalry scout.
The class graduated on June 22nd.
The women will continue their jobs at the 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas,...
