Central African Republic government forces and their allies have seized the town of Bossangoa in the western part of the country from rebels, reports Xinhua, China’s state-run news agency.
On Wednesday, government troops, backed by Russian paramilitaries and Rwandan forces, retook Bossangoa, the capital of Ouham prefecture, and hometown of former President Francois Bozize, said Prime Minister Firmin Ngrebada.
