Yemeni forces say they killed three suspected Al-Qaida members Monday in the country's south following terrorist raids last week on security forces, Reuters reports.
The insurgents were believed to have been involved in an ambush last week that killed five soldiers in Shabwa governate, security officials said.
On Sunday, gunmen from Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) reportedly killed six Yemeni soldiers in Shabwa.
