After four months of classes and two weeks of testing, 51 Afghan border police officers have completed an NCO course in eastern Nangarhar province, reports Combined Joint Task Force 82.
The course was run without any help from NATO, U.S. officials said.
Instructors were handpicked by the border police to train the candidates in police tactics, improvised explosive devices, criminal tactics, police operations and logistics.
