Border Guards Drill With U.S. Coast Guard Off Kamchatka

Russian border guards have just completed a joint drill with a U.S. Coast Guard cutter off the coast of Kamchatka in Russia's Far East, reports Interfax-AVN.
The joint exercise with the USCGC Jarvis included cooperative patrols, communications and search-and-rescue components, said Russian officials.
The Jarvis then sailed to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky for a visit that is scheduled to conclude on Sept. 23.
