An Egyptian Islamic militant group has claimed responsibility for a bombing of a pipeline in the Sinai carrying gas to Jordon, reports Agence France-Presse.
Ansar Beit al-Maqdis, which has declared allegiance to the Islamic State, claimed the attack on Monday on its Twitter account.
The group did not say when the attack was carried out. It posted unverified photos of the purported attack.
