Bomb Hitting China Seems To Have Cost Job Of Air Force Chief Of Staff

A high-ranking Burmese air force officer has lost his job, apparently because of a stray bomb that fell into Chinese territory three months ago and killed four farmers, reports Reuters.

Maj. Gen. Lwin Oo was replaced as the air force chief of staff by Brig. Gen. Maung Maung Kyaw, said a senior official.

It was unclear when the move took place.

An unnamed air force officer said the change was probably due to a bomb that hit the Chinese side of the border during fighting...
