A homemade bomb exploded Wednesday near the home of a government employee in the southern Philippines, reports Xinhua, China's state news agency.
No one was reported hurt.
A bomb was placed in a culvert in the front gate of the house belonging to a local official in Shariff Aguak in Maguindanao province, military officials said.
