Police in Namibia have discovered a suspected explosive device in baggage booked on a flight headed for Germany, Bloomberg News reports.
The Air Berlin flight was bound from Windhoek to Munich on Wednesday.
The device contained batteries wired to a working clock and a detonator, police said.
Germany dispatched a team of experts to the Namibian capital in southern Africa to examine the device, officials from the Federal Criminal Office (BKA) said.
