President Donald Trump says that he has removed National Security Adviser John Bolton from his job, reports the Washington Post.
Bolton submitted his resignation on Tuesday after a request the day before, Trump said in a statement on social media.
The former adviser disputed this account, saying that he had tendered his resignation.
The immediate cause behind Bolton's ouster was a failed meeting at Camp David, Md., between the Taliban and Afghan government, reported Politico. ...
