Boko Haram Leader Boasts Of Massacre, Threatens More Killings

The leader of Boko Haram has claimed responsibility for a massacre earlier this month in the Nigerian town of Baga, reports Deutsche Welle.

"We killed the people of Baga. We indeed killed them, as [Allah] commanded us in his book," said Abubakar Shekau in a video released on Tuesday.

Some reports say as many as 2,000 people were killed in a Boko Haram raid on the fishing village on Jan. 3, reported the BBC.
