Militants believed to be from the Boko Haram group have launched two attacks in Nigeria's Plateau state, reports the BBC.
At least five people were killed and 10 others injured, security officials said on Wednesday.
Gunmen shot and killed five villagers overnight in Rim, 30 miles south of Jos, said officials.
Earlier in Jos, nine people were injured in an explosion outside a venue showing a soccer match on television, said officials.
