Four farmers have been killed in a militant attack in northeastern Nigeria, reports Agence France-Presse.
On Tuesday, gunmen opened fire on farmers in a field outside of Lassa village in Borno state.
Four people were killed, said a militia member.
The attackers tried to enter the village but were repelled, he said.
The village is near the Sambisa forest, where Boko Haram fighters are known to hide.
