Boise Sub Set To Begin Long-Awaited Refit

Work will soon begin on a U.S. Navy attack submarine that has been in line for maintenance since it completed its last patrol in 2015, reports the Navy Times.

USS Boise is scheduled to receive shipyard space for the maintenance and modernization period this year, Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Michael Gilday told the House Appropriations defense subcommittee on April 29.
