Bogota Agrees To Reduce Operations Against FARC

The Colombian government and the FARC guerrilla group have agreed on a plan to reduce their conflict, reports the BBC.
Bogota said on Sunday it would cut back on its military action if the rebels followed through with a unilateral cease-fire set to begin on July 20.
The joint statement was released by Cuban and Norwegian diplomats in Havana, who have been mediating peace talks, reported Deutsche Welle.
