Boeing Wins $700 Million USAF Order For Small Diameter Bombs

The U.S. Air Force has awarded St. Louis-based Boeing a US$700 million contract for precision-guided munitions, reports the Dept. of Defense.
The deal, which was announced on Tuesday, covers production lots 12-14 of Small Diameter Bomb Increment 1, including weapons and carriage systems.
The contract also includes Foreign Military Sales, said a Pentagon release.
Work is scheduled to be completed by Dec. 12, 2021.
