Boeing Suddenly Drops Out Of DARPA Spaceplane Project

Boeing has decided to end its participation in a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) program to build a suborbital spaceplane, reports Space News.
In 2017, the firm was selected for phases 2 and 3 of the Experimental Spaceplane (XSP) program, which was previously known as the XS-1, beating out bids from Masten Space Systems and Northrop Grumman.
